ELECTRICAL SPECIALISATION COURSE PASSES OUT FROM INS VALSURA

Passing Out Parade marking the culmination of Electrical specialisation course was held at INS Valsura on 11 Apr 23. 35 Officers including 20 officers of the Indian Navy and nine officers from Friendly Foreign Navies (Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Vietnam and Nigeria) successfully completed the 95 week long course. Lt Gen KH Gawas, VSM, Commandant Military College of Telecommunication Engineering (Mhow) was the Chief Guest and reviewed the Passing Out Parade which was witnessed by the parents of the passing out course.

The Chief Guest complimented the passing out course for high standard of drill and congratulated them on this significant milestone in their career. He highlighted that training at INS Valsura has kept pace with the advancement in the field of technology to meet the dynamic challenges onboard ships.

Awards were presented to the officers excelling in academics, sports and extra-curricular activities. Chief of the Naval Staff Trophy and Admiral Ramnath Trophy for Best All-round Officer was awarded to Slt Mohit Bhuranya. Commander AR Khandekar Rolling Trophy for standing first in overall order of merit was awarded to Slt Ankit Yadav. Commanding Officer INS Valsura Rolling Trophy for 'Best Sportsperson' was awarded to Slt Shorav Singh Chauhan.
