Welcome to Naval Air Operations School International Alumni Portal
Naval Air Operations School is the only aviation training establishment of the Indian Navy that undertakes basic flying training for officers of the IN, ICG as well as officers from Friendly Foreign Countries (FFC). In addition, commencing 2016 the school has been conducting the prestigious Qualified Navigation Instructor (QNI) course. The School commenced functioning with bare minimum infrastructure at Meteorological School at INS Garuda in 1960 and subsequently became a sanctioned unit on 03 Feb 1975. Furthermore, the school has been recognized as 'Centre for Excellence in Maritime Air Operations' by Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) since 2002. As on date the School has the proud distinction of training 943 Air Operations Officers (749 Regular, 159 SSC and 35 Foreign Observers).
